The Chronicles of Korea

Jennifer and Heather are crazy, fun-loving, nomadic girls with a desire to travel the world. We are both at a point in our lives where we can easily make a change and try something new. This blog will be a journal of our lives in Asia as English teachers in South Korea.

Denise attempts a Korean hula hoop.......
Denise, Jennifer, and I hiked along Yongdo island near my house and found some giant hula hula hoops. There are free outdoor gyms on most hiking trails in Korea (and in many other Asian countries). These gyms include various exercise equipment, bar bells, pull up bars, and giant hula hoops. I have no idea why they are so awkwardly large. Denise was a bit apprehensive at first about trying it, but she was able to get the hang of it for a bit. Watch the video below of her second attempt.
