Hiking near our home in Busanjin.
The other day I was taking Soju for a walk and stumbled upon an entrance into Daeshin Park. It was quite beautiful for being so near the city with its trees, spring flowers, scattered buddhist shrines, and tombs. There was even a random badminton court in the middle of the forest. I love hiking there and feeling like I'm miles away from the chaos of Busan. I do have to stretch my imagination a bit in order to block out those inevasible city sounds. Hey guys, I am looking into teaching ESL in South Korea, with much inspiration coming from your blog.
I was wondering what websites you used and what company/school you are currently working for. Your school and co-workers seem like the ideal setup for me. Any information you can give me about finding a job like yours (or even with your KJC schools) would be awesome!

hey Ryan,
KJC hires thru recruiting companies so u should go thru one of them. The one I went thru was RBI so just do a search of that name. There are a ton of websites advertising jobs in Korea and I'm sure you'll see RBI on there. Make sure u tell them Busan only cuz some of my friends were promised Busan then ended up in some town far away with nothing to do. Also there are parts of Busan that are far from everything too so email me if you get any offers and I'll tell u if the location is good.
