We have now been here eight months and things are good! I am loving my new schedule at work and I feel like a make a new friend every day! I started this crazy exercising schedule and I started seriously training in yoga! I'm trying to get healthy and fit before traveling round India in January! I broke up with my boyfriend and now I'm working on my body and my mind... reading more, and exercising! After watching the documentary, Sicko, it made me glad to be living in Korea!!!
Anyways... here's a photo of me practicing a full bridge or rainbow pose in front of a bar last Friday night!

10th annual Boryeong Mud Festival

Jennifer and I went to the Boryeong Mud Festival last weekend with several friends from Busan. There were over 100 of us who went together from Busan via bus caravan. The festival included mud games, mud slides, mud wrestling, mud massages, live concerts and fireworks show. We had an amazing time and stayed muddy all day as we participated in mud games and enjoyed watching the muddy people in this absurd festival. Unfortunately our room didn't have enough bedding for the number of people sleeping there so Jennifer and I ended up sleeping on the beach and waking up to the blazing sun. It was a fun experience though and I highly recommend the mud fest to anyone moving here.
Enjoy the photos

Who is the man behind the green tape?????? An unsolved Busan mystery.

The story of Geen Tape Man
About 7 months ago I was in Nampo-dong walking around with some friends when I first spotted him. I watched him closely as he sat under his black umbrella with a knife to his face. He was slowly and methodically cutting away slices of green tape from his face as he stared into a mirror. The next time I spotted him he had several pieces of green tape that he was sticking onto his face one by one. Another time my friend caught him walking down the street and her photo revealed that he had green tape not only covering his entire face, but his wrists and ankles were as well. Could his entire body be covered in green tape? In the photo above you'll notice he has newspaper covering his ankles. He also seems to have newspapers or something stuffed in his shirt around his belly. I love Green Tape Man. He's mysterious and peculiar and I want to know what his story is. Does he have some sort of psychological disorder? Maybe he has body dysmorphic disorder.
My friends and I have questioned as to whether or not he's some sort of strange performance artist but we've ruled that out. If anyone knows anything about Green Tape Man...please respond to this blog.

Hello Everyone! Please check out my pictures of Vietnam! My awesome friend Aurelia and I had an amazing adventure ruffing it in the many magnificent cities of Vietnam!
We visited Saigon, The Makong Delta, Hoi Ann, (where we got clothes made for us and went scuba diving)Hanoi and the beautiful Nim Bhin where we went on a wild motorbike tour. Food was amazing and so were the people! The landscape was incredible. Every city was so unique and gorgeous! A week was not nearly enough time to experience the country, but that is all I was able to have!
I am still enjoying my experience teaching English, but I will be happy to come home and see my friends and family and have summers off again!
